Description

This base differs from the entire group. Similar to SW9a. Although the base is worn, the two astragals above the uppermost torus (a decorative feature seen on few other examples within the group of bases from the South Stoa) are still evident. The base is also too large for the stylobate block with which it is paired.

On the upper surface a square dowel hole is preserved, measuring 6.5 x 4.5 cm. There is also a small cutting 0.08 cm wide on the corner of the plinth, as well as a center setting line.
