Description

Whereas this base matches the general style and shape of SW6a, the overall execution of its mouldings is comparatively inconsistent; it also includes an uppermost torus, which SW6a lacks.

Various cuttings made after its completion also distinguish the base. The bottom of the plinth features a slight decorative recess extending the whole of the surface from each corner, and on its side the plinth features a vertical channel cut 6.5 cm in width.
