Description

Matches SW19a. Moreso than most bases within the South Stoa, this block exhibits a fluidity and depth of sculpted mouldings that is most consistent with earlier Imperial types, especially with regard to the shaping of the scotia, which appears in a half round, the proportional relationship between each constituent element, and the additional mouldings to the upper torus.

There is no evidence of tool marks on the surface. A circular shaped dowel hole is visible on top, measuring 5.5 cm in diameter.
