Description
Matches SW13a. The mouldings of this base are simplistic and schematic, with all moulded forms sculpted with little depth beyond the square shape of the plinth. The upper torus and scotia is flat. Heavy markings from the tooth chisel are present on all faces of the plinth, as well as on the lower half of the lowermost torus, and traces along other surfaces of the base. Whereas the general style of this base matches others in the South West group, its proportions are much more elongated than the others.
