Description
Partially fluted; composed of several drums, two of which remain. The second drum is partially fluted, with fillets that end in a pi-shaped moulding.
Over the unfluted sections of both drums, evidence of the tooth chisel remains as a prominent surface texture over the whole of the block, with its strokes applied in short horizontal lines. On the fluted portion of the second drum, within the fillets and on the flutes, the strokes of the tooth chisel run vertically.
The column is reconstructed in the South Stoa, although the reliability of reconstruction is not confirmed.
